Stuff Your Rucksack hits BBC headlines
Ok, so it may not be the Ten O’Clock News, but we think getting a slot on the channel’s flagship technology programme Click in August is pretty good going.
Since its launch on May 19, www.stuffyourrucksack.com – our responsible travel website produced with TV presenter Kate Humble – has taken the media by storm, regularly popping up in the national newspapers and on travel-related social networking and news sites. (We even got a few minutes on Dubai Eye 103.8’s lunchtime show.) This latest coverage – which runs through the key features on the site and points out just how easy it is to make a difference all across the world – shows that packing life-changing donations for communities in need has captured the public’s imagination. People are really interested in stuffing everything from pens to car parts into their rucksacks – and will be for a long time to come.
