English Heritage, the charity responsible for caring for over 400 historic sites across England, has appointed Think, the PPA Content Agency of the Year 2024, to manage commercial advertising and affiliate and content partnership revenues across its magazine, podcast and rewards programme for the charity’s 1.1 million members.

The English Heritage magazine is a key benefit for members and is one of the top 10 magazines in the UK by circulation. It offers brands a premium platform in which to engage with an active audience of families and cultural explorers.

The English Heritage Member Rewards programme offers exclusive discounts and experiences, connecting members with a range of carefully selected brands and services.

Through the English Heritage podcast, comedian and writer Amy Matthews brings subjects to life with the help of English Heritage experts and special guests, exploring what our past can tell us about our present and perhaps our future.

Think is an award-winning membership publishing and content agency, working with market-leading organisations such as the National Trust for Scotland, the Chartered Management Institute, CAMRA and Mensa.

Ian McAuliffe, CEO at Think, said: “We are thrilled to be working with English Heritage who are preserving and celebrating the nation’s history. Our expertise in delivering innovative commercial solutions for membership organisations makes this an exciting partnership, and we look forward to bringing new and valuable opportunities to English Heritage’s members. Our commercial team generates over £7m in advertising for our clients annually, and we are eager to support English Heritage in maximising revenue and engagement.”

Kate McMullen, Head of Brand and Marketing at English Heritage, commented: “We are excited to be working with Think to develop new commercial opportunities across our member magazine and rewards programme. Think’s experience in the membership sector will be instrumental in helping us connect with brands and partners that align with our values and enhance the experience for our members.”
